Covnetics is pleased to announce its membership in the newly launched Altera Solution Acceleration Partner (ASAP) program, building on a successful 14-year partnership with Altera.

Through the ASAP program, Covnetics can provide customers with pre-built solutions, intellectual property (IP), advanced tools, and services—helping to reduce time to market and accelerate revenue generation.

Over the years, Covnetics has built a strong reputation for delivering high-performance FPGA solutions, ranging from Intel® MAX® Series FPGA and CPLD – Intel® FPGA, to the more advanced Intel® Altera Agilex™ 7 series. Today, Covnetics is delivering cutting-edge signal processing and hardware acceleration solutions for the radio astronomy industry using the Agilex™ 7 FPGA F-Series Development Kit (P-Tile and E-Tile), which is available for order now.

In a recent project, Covnetics developed a custom industrial communications solution based on the Cyclone® 10 GX transceiver. Using the  Cyclone® 10 GX Development Kit, the solution integrates 4 x 622 Mbps client interfaces and 4 x 1Gbe traffic interfaces into a single FPGA, offering both performance and cost efficiency.

Covnetics also worked alongside Novosound to apply FPGA technology to ultrasound systems for the development of a Dental Scanner. The project utilised Cyclone® 10 GX technology, with Covnetics leading the full FPGA development, hardware testing, and providing the necessary test software for verification.

Looking ahead, Covnetics is working on cutting-edge solutions using the Agilex™ 5 FPGA and SoC FPGA E-Series family, focusing on smaller form factors, lower power consumption, and high-speed transceiver options of up to 28Gbps.

Through its long-standing relationship with Altera, strengthened by its new membership in the ASAP program, Covnetics remains committed to providing innovative, high-quality FPGA solutions to meet the needs of its customers across various industries.
